This 3-hour, handgun-based simulation course pushes students into advanced decision-making and tactical problem-solving through force-on-force training in and around structures. Role-players will portray bystanders, innocents, and potential threats, requiring students to rapidly assess and respond under pressure.
Course Progression
Part One: Reality-based drills reviewing core material from previous EDCQC courses to reinforce foundational skills.
Part Two: Instruction in more advanced tactics, including how to protect and manage loved ones and operate with a partner in dynamic environments.
Part Three: Scenario-based exercises against live role players using airsoft training tools, simulating real-world encounters with complex variables.
This course emphasizes realism, judgment under stress, and effective tactical communication, all within a controlled, safety-focused environment.
Prerequisites
Completion of (EDCQC 5) or instructor approval is strongly recommended to ensure a foundational understanding of movement and structure-based tactics.
Individual protective gear: A loose, long-sleeved shirt or hoodie, groin protection (it can be something like a knee pad or cup), and gloves (gloves with rubber or hard materials will provide more protection).
