EDCQC 5 – Live-Fire Urban Movement

Course Overview

This EDCQC course is a live-fire, handgun-focused class that builds on intermediate skills, tactics, and decision-making in and around structural environments. Students will develop safe and effective movement techniques through urban interior terrain while addressing potential threats using foundational tactics and marksmanship.

Training emphasizes real-world applications with a high instructor-to-student ratio to ensure individual attention and strict safety oversight throughout.

• Integration of tactics with live-fire execution
• Decision-making under realistic conditions

Prerequisites

• Completion of (EDCQC 4) or instructor approval is strongly recommended to ensure a foundational understanding of movement and structure-based tactics.
• Completion of Advanced Handgun Level 1

Student Equipment:

• Pants with belt loops with belt
• Handgun, holster, cover garment, eye and ear protection, and three magazines 
• 150 rounds of ammunition
